About Kelsey:
Kelsey is a senior in textiles and fashion design with a focus in hand papermaking. She loves the meditative quality of craft, whether it’s spending all day in the studio forming hundreds of sheets or obsessing over one embroidered piece for months. Kelsey’s work revolves around methods of material communication and reverence for the natural world. She appreciates the different ways paper can carry information and stand in defiance to the online spaces we occupy.
Career Aspirations
Kelsey is looking at graduate school programs to continue her art education. She hopes to create a sustainable career as an artist and make meaningful contributions to her community.
